Flying to Spokane

Gonzaga University is a quick 15 minute drive from the Spokane International Airport (GEG).

Gonzaga University does not offer a shuttle service to and from the Spokane Airport. We encourage visitor to set up shuttles through their hotel, call a taxi, Uber, Lyft, or contact Platinum Towncar Service (see information below) with which Gonzaga has contracted a discount rate for visitors. Travel from Greyhound & Amtrak Station

The Greyhound and Amtrak Station in Spokane is located at 221 West 1st Ave, Spokane, WA 99201. The Spokane Greyhound & Amtrak Station services trains and buses from across the region. To plan your trip visit:

Driving Directions from I-90 Westbound/Eastbound

  • Guests are welcome to park in any of the green parking areas. The two main areas are the BARC Parking Garage which has visitor parking on the 3rd and 4th floor, and the parking lot just to the west of the Gonzaga Law building. For a full map of the guest parking locations look for the parking areas highlighted in green on this map. Please note that the BARC Parking Garage is not highlighted green, since only some of the levels are visitor parking:
  • To get to the BARC Parking Garage
    • Take Exit 282 - Hamilton Street/Trent Street.
    • Go straight through the light at the bottom of the exit ramp and continue North on Hamilton.
    • Turn left on Boone Ave. (before Bruchi's and Froyo Earth).
    • BARC Parking Garage is on your right. Guests are welcome to park in any of the green parking areas that are located on the 3rd and 4th floor of the BARC Parking Garage.
  • To get to the parking lot west of the Gonzaga Law Building:
    • Take Exit 282 - Hamilton Street/Trent Street.
    • Turn left at the light onto Spokane Falls Blvd (also called Trent)
    • Take the immediate next right onto Cincinnati St.
    • The Parking lot will be on your left just after the baseball field.

Driving Directions from Downtown Spokane

  • Head north on Division St, which turns into Ruby St.
  • Turn right onto Sharp Ave.
  • Turn right onto Cincinnati St.
  • To get to the BARC Parking Garage turn left on Boone Ave. The garage is on your right. Visitor parking is available on the 3rd and 4th floor

Other Sustainable Travel Options in Spokane

  • Walking: Gonzaga is right next to the centennial trail which provides an easy walking path for guests to Gonzaga from Downtown Spokane. Guests staying in the Davenport Grand are just a 25 minute walk from campus and can use this link to find the best walking path for them.
  • Public Transit: All WAHESC attendees will receive a 2-day transit pass for free public transportation on Feb 16th and 17th, thanks to our sponsor Spokane Transit Authority. Information regarding this pass will come to registrants via email in the days leading up to the event. Stay tuned!   • Ride Your Bike: Spokane offers a host of streets safe for a biker to ride on including the centennial trail which runs right through campus. To find the ride right for you please look at the following sites:


Guests attending the WAHESC Conference event at Hemmingson Center may park at the BARC, levels 3 and 4.
